Wendy has served as a prominent member of our team at Dental Town since 2012. Not only did she come to us as a well-trained hygienist, but with training and skills in hospital administration and public health. Her skill set have proved to be an enormous boon to our multispeciality multi-location practice. In addition to providing care to our adult and pediatric patients as a hygienist, she has also serves as a safety and quality assurance officer to our 115+ employees.
Wendy has both written and implemented many of our standard operating procedures aimed at improving the quality of care to our patients and the safety of our team and patients. Having the heart of a teacher, she also serves as an in-house educator for OSHA. She finds great joy in teaching and educating our patients and team members alike. Beyond Wendy's vast academic and clinical knowledge, she is a wonderful and compassionate individual who strives to connect with each team member and especially her patients. Health Admin Internship Performance Evaluation:
Wendy, was exposed to as many different experiences and situations as possible. She regularly joined and participated in nursing administration meetings. She participated in a root cause analysis, and was given responsibilities in working on the Memorial Health Nursing Strategic Plan. I have never had an intern with Wendy's enthusiasm and potential. She completed all work assigned to her in the time frame given and with only minimal direction. She became a member of our nursing leadership team during her time with me. Her strengths are collaboration, data collection, synthesis and analysis. Excellent relationship building!
